En Chascomús, provincia de Buenos Aires, una capilla guarda y protege la historia
de la comunidad afroargentina. Tres personas negras emprenden un viaje para
redescubrir ese legado. El lugar les sorprende e inspira un rito para honrar a sus
ancestros.
In Chascomús, Buenos Aires province, a chapel keeps and protects the history of the
Afro-Argentine community. Three black people embark on a journey to rediscover that
legacy. The place surprises them and inspires a ritual to honor their ancestors.

As an integral part of the Congress the Film Exhibit features recent films that present potential connections between both continents in all possible areas: their history, peoples, cultures, art, politics, education, and all the subjects and discourses with which their communities engage.
LASA/Africa 2023 is the first Continental Congress of LASA in Africa. The LASA Continental Congresses provide an opportunity to collaborate and work on the many interesting theoretical and practical problems presented in each continent in relation to Latin America.
